Hi! My name is Yee-Lum, and I’m a certified firearms instructor in Lawrence and Kansas City.
I’m passionate about providing friendly, positive, and down-to-earth instruction that meets you where you are, especially for beginner shooters and folks who may not always see themselves well-represented in the firearms world.
As a gay Asian-American woman, I’m particularly committed to welcoming Black, brown, Indigenous, and queer/trans people to gun safety and shooting as a practical and sporting skill.

Prices and range rules follow host location policies.
Basic Handgun ($75)
This 2-hour, small-group class introduces beginners to handgun safety, controls, and operation. We’ll begin with learning in the classroom, then move to the range for live practice once everyone can do so safely.
Concealed Carry ($120)
This 8-hour class on the legal and practical considerations of concealed carry meets the Kansas Attorney General’s standards and allows you to apply for your Concealed Carry Handgun License.
